Emily Shackelford is a director, choreographer, performer, and currently serves as the Artistic Associate with Music Theater Heritage in Kansas City, Missouri. Recent directing credits include Gypsy (Director), It’s a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play (Director), The Secret Garden (Asst. Dir.), A Spectacular Christmas (Director/Choreographer) at MTH; Kate Hamill’s Little Women at Kanas City Actor's Theater (Asst. Dir.); and Cyrano de Bergerac at Kansas City Repertory Theater (Associate Dir.). Her work as an actor has brought her to The New Victory Theater (Off-Broadway), DC Arena Stage, Baltimore Center Stage, Syracuse Stage, The Kansas City Repertory Theater, and many more.
